Building the foundation before making the promise.

Guardian overview

Purpose before promotion.

Guardian UAS was created to address gaps in access to responsible unmanned-aircraft capability, education, and preparedness, especially in communities where resources may be limited.

The organization’s current materials describe a small team of active professionals with backgrounds spanning local and federal law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services, emergency management, and information technology systems and security.

Why Guardian exists

Closing a capability gap responsibly.

Guardian’s published history says the organization was founded in 2026 after its founder developed a drone program for a rural sheriff’s office and recognized wider resource gaps affecting Upper Midwest communities.

That origin informs a mission focused on public safety, preparedness, education, collaboration, community resilience, and charitable service rather than consumer drone work or technology for its own sake.

Published mission“Guardian UAS advances public safety, emergency preparedness, disaster response, and community resilience through technology, education, collaboration, and charitable service.”

Geographic positioning

Midwest based. Community focused.

Guardian UAS is based in the Midwest, and its history is rooted in the resource needs of Upper Midwest communities.
