Working policy date: August 24, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to information handled through the Guardian UAS public website. It does not describe the data practices of a separate agency, organization, emergency authority, or future operational system.
2. Information submitted by visitors
The general contact form may collect a name, organization, email address, optional phone number, inquiry topic, and message. The support-request form may also collect organization type, requester role, phone number, preferred contact method, general mission type, city, state, general location, and optional additional information.
Visitors should not submit Social Security numbers, medical records, passwords, exact tactical positions, protected law-enforcement information, classified information, or other sensitive operational details through this website.
3. How information is used
Submitted information is used to respond to general inquiries or evaluate whether a support conversation is appropriate. A submission does not constitute mission acceptance or guaranteed availability.
4. Email delivery and storage
The implemented forms send validated submissions through Resend to the email addresses configured by Guardian UAS. The website does not include a database for form records. If email delivery fails, the site does not claim that a request was recorded.
Messages may remain in Guardian’s configured email system until deleted according to its operational needs and any applicable obligations. A final retention schedule has not been published and requires client approval.
5. Hosting, logs, and service providers
The website is designed for deployment on Vercel, which may process request metadata and server logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. Resend processes form content to deliver email. Each provider handles information under its own terms and policies.
6. Analytics and cookies
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and page views and provide information about website traffic. No advertising tracker is included. Vercel may process technical request data needed to provide analytics and to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site. The hosting platform and browser may use technical storage or request data necessary for those purposes.
7. Security and data minimization
The forms use server-side validation, input limits, rate limiting, origin checks, a honeypot field, timing checks, and safe error responses. No internet transmission or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, so visitors should submit only the minimum non-sensitive information needed.
8. Choices and requests
To ask about information submitted through this site, request correction or deletion where appropriate, or raise a privacy concern, contact Guardian at info@guardianuas.org. The response available may depend on applicable law, operational needs, and whether the information can be located in the configured email system.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated when website features, providers, or data practices change. The working policy date above should be replaced with the approved effective date at launch.
